Fun with Acryla Gouache

I found this dress while I was out shopping for a new dress for choir. Our choir colors are red, orange and yellow, so obviously I failed at my quest. However, the color of this dress was just too luscious to pass up. It reminds me of a favorite Henley shirt I used to wear in college. That shirt is long gone, so it's nice to have this updated version of an old favorite.

I did this outfit illustration after I took home this beautiful tin of Holbein Acryla Gouache from Wet Paint. I usually use markers for my illustrations, but I thought it would be fun to try something new. These colors are fun to mix and give me so many more color options than what I have in markers. These paints will be a great addition to my treasure chest of art supplies.

While playing with the paints, I made this super fun color mixing chart. This shows 50/50 mixes of all 18 colors in the tin, which helps me figure out how to go about getting practically any shade I want. And let me tell you, there are some surprising mixes in here that I never would have imagined.

We also had fun at work making this video. Check it out, I'm more than just a drawing of myself always in the same pose!

This super cool tin full of 18 unique Holbein Acryla Gouache colors is only available at Wet Paint and only for a limited time.
